You are glowing right now and you cannot see it. In 2009 Japanese researchers placed volunteers in complete darkness with a camera so sensitive it could catch a single photon. They proved the human body emits visible light, a phenomenon called ultraweak photon emission. It is about 1,000 times dimmer than our eyes can detect and is thought to be a byproduct of cellular metabolism. Your face glows most, and the light peaks in the late afternoon, rising and falling with your daily metabolic rhythm.
