You Glow — Humans Are Bioluminescent

In 2009, Japanese scientists proved with super-sensitive cameras that humans emit light. We are faintly bioluminescent. The light comes from chemical reactions involving free radicals when we produce energy. The glow is strongest on the face and peaks in the late afternoon, around 4pm, and is weakest at 3am. The light is about 1,000 times dimmer than our eyes can detect, so you will never see it in a mirror. Every person you meet is literally glowing.
