In November 1930, fur trapper Joe Labelle reached Inuit village Angikuni Lake, Nunavut. He found 6 tents, food over fires, rifles by doors — but 30 people gone, including children. Even sled dogs buried under snow, starved. RCMP searched but found no tracks. The story grew with UFO claims, but official files note a disturbed grave. Whether fact or embellished, it remains Canada's most cited vanishing village.
